The Maidam Education Foundation

Established in 2014, Yayasan Pendidikan Maidam (“YPM" or "The Maidam Education Foundation” or "YPMGlobal") is a company limited by guarantee operating on a 44(6) non-profit basis for the public benefit and registered under Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (The Companies Commission of Malaysia) with charity registration number 201401033805 (1109891-P).

Yayasan Pendidikan Maidam (The Maidam Education Foundation) is a 44(6) non-profit organization established to demystify the world of digital infrastructure for education and the related technologies that impact every aspect of our daily lives, to carry out all kinds of activities that will enhance education, promote knowledge acquisition, skills/capabilities, undertake all kinds of studies, and be the platform for collaboration and strategic alliances between the foundation and other organizations. Through the contributions of our supporters, we are launching global programs in partnership with a range of education providers, NGOs and other nonprofit organizations committed to educating children in underprivileged communities. We are an indigenous charity organisation registered in Malaysia with tax-exempt status.

The objectives of the Yayasan Pendidikan Maidam (YPM) are:

 

1. To defend the fate of orphans, children of poor families, children with disabilities, Tahfiz students, and those who are named as students.

 

2. Helping students who have problems with the entrance fee at the beginning of their admission to university education, who are from poor families, orphans, and others who are named as students.

 

3. Ensuring that students under the organization are on the right platform and can continue their studies to a higher level.

 

4. Engaging in charity work and volunteering, according to the circumstances, such as helping during floods and so on.

 

5. Empowering communities, aiming for long-term sustainable development, and seeing ourselves as partners to the local church and the people we are serving.

 

6. Helping students in and out of the country, regardless of race, ethnicity, and religion.
